focuses on practical training, where officers are posted in various field
offices of the Ministry of Defence to gain hands-on experience.
Phase 3: This is a 26-week training program that
covers advanced topics such as defence procurement, contract management, and
project management.
Training Academy Name: The National Academy of
Defence Financial Management (NADFM) in Pune is the training academy for the
foundation training of IDAS officers. The specialized training for IDAS
officers is conducted at the Defence Services Staff College (DSSC) in
Wellington.
