Specialized Training:

 After completing the foundation training, ICAS officers undergo specialized training at the Institute of Government Accounts and Finance (INGAF) in New Delhi. The specialized training is divided into three phases:

Phase 1: This is a 16-week training program that covers subjects such as financial management, accounting, and audit.

Phase 2: This is a 16-week training program that focuses on practical training, where officers are posted in various field offices of the Department of Expenditure to gain hands-on experience.

Phase 3: This is a 16-week training program that covers advanced topics such as public finance, taxation, and project management.

Training Academy Name: 

The National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM) in Faridabad is the training academy for the foundation training of ICAS officers. The specialized training for ICAS officers is conducted at the Institute of Government Accounts and Finance (INGAF) in New Delhi.
